Prayer Wheels, mani wheels, are used by Tibetan Buddhists and Buddhism practitioners. Using a Tibetan prayer wheel is said to eliminate the bad karma and enhance the good karma. In Tibetan Buddhism, using the prayer wheel is said to achieve the same result as saying the mantras. There are many different types of prayer wheels. The two types of prayer wheels sold here are stationary prayer wheels and hand-held prayer wheels (which are also known as mani wheels). Prayer wheels are most often spun in a clockwise direction, and you can also say the mantra at the same time as you spin the prayer wheel (mani wheel). Stationary prayer wheels are often placed or mounted outside (wall mounted prayer wheels) where the wind can spin the wheel.
