This bracelet is .75 of an inch wide, and it's adjustable. The mantra on the front of the bracelet is written in Tibetan and it says, om mani peme hung, also written as om mani padme hum. This mantra calls on Chenrezig, the Buddha of compassion. In China Chenrezig is often shown as his female form, Guan Yin. This mantra literally translates into hail to the jewel in the lotus. This turquoise or amethyst mantra bracelet was handmade in Nepal.
